in residency at carico massimo in livorno, stefan pente and I interrogate the relationships between these monuments and our bodies, between personal and collective history, between seabed and sea level. sea water and marble become collaborators in an attempt to produce antibodies against virulent concepts of beauty, truth and power inherent in white european culture. |
